UNTITLED

from "PHARMACEUTICAL VOODOO"

-------

the ritual process
reveals skin
shoulders dancing
naked
in the light
from the street
comes shinning
thru the window
and all the world
is red heat
at midnight
leading to cloudy
truths of 2 a.m.
smoke hanging
in the air
where we've been
bled dry
satisfied
goodbye cruel world
goodnight
shut off
the light
the end

-------

UNTITLED

freedom in dementia
alternate dimensions
these streets
       empty
           speak
cry for me
   to dissolve
      into
their black folds

like waves of smoke
                   roll
to stroll disembodied
to find
    create
      all reality

the scent of opium
and asian cooking
the sound of a car
  purring into disappearance
somewhere in the unknown
                    distance

footsteps lose all sound
            and sensation

the eyes create
           kaleidoscopes
             of shadows
the ears create
   the chatter of leaves
               and branches

my mind a feather
  gets tossed thru
    the breeze

my body smokes
               cigarettes
  and wears long sleeves
thoughts of anxiety

my mouth speaks
civilization's breed of agitation

my blood pulsates
   animal agony

  howls over sirens
  shakes the city
     to silence
   creates laughter
        over televised
              violence

burns money
  gives light
    finds the moon glows
  celebrates life
destroys corporations
              factories
                industries

generates heat
      electric currents energy

my senses return
    to me
        once again

for my footsteps
  to follow
  the will
     of the wind

--------

UNTITLED

we are all
     cathedrals

eyes full of
       stained glass windows

my eyes reflecting
              your image
yours
    mine

there is a relativity of time
suspended
in the distance
between us

centuries scented with some
ancient secret
time stands still
to hold witness
while rain washes our faces
with the blood of
spirits

whole city's suddenly
turned into a solemn
mausoleum

and our gaze
settled in the dust
of a thousand days
is humming
the notes
of a hymn
